Rita Avellar - Support the cancer treatment

As many of you know, I’ve been going through a challenging journey with cancer treatment for the second time after the first one in 2022 (picture above). After completing my first round of treatment in 2023, I faced the emotional and physical difficulties of returning to work, and it took me over a year to get back on track. Now, as I begin my second treatment, which includes chemotherapy every three weeks followed by a double mastectomy and reconstruction surgery, I find myself needing support again.

While I’m fortunate to have good health insurance, many of the wellness and mental health services I rely on are out-of-pocket, which has made it difficult to maintain my normal work schedule. I’ve always hesitated to ask for help, but I now realize how important it is to accept support during times like these.

That’s where you come in. Many of you have asked how you can help, and I want to offer something in return for your generosity. Below, I’ve outlined the ways you can support me during this time and the services I can provide to show my appreciation.

If you forget to send your details, I’ll still find a way to contact you to make sure you get your service! 😉

A LITTLE ABOUT MY JOURNEY

As I go through this second round of cancer treatment, which will last for several months, I find myself reflecting on how much I’ve learned from the first experience. I am deeply grateful for the strength I’ve found in my community, and I know that together, we can make it through this.

The financial and emotional support I’ve received has helped me more than words can express. By offering my services in exchange for support, I hope to give back while continuing to navigate my treatment and focus on healing. Your help, in any form, means the world to me.

Thank you for being part of this Fck Cancer journey with me.

With love and gratitude,

Rita Avellar
